YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a statistician to reinforce our statistical team to analyze the employment. Being part of the statistical department means to have a deep knowledge of the methodology to analyze and to produce data. You will be in charge of a strategic project to involve in a dynamic department.

  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting employment-related data from surveys, census reports, and databases.
  • Preparing reports and visual presentations to communicate findings to policymakers, and the public.
  • Collaborating with government agencies, and research institutions to enhance workforce data collection.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and reliability by applying appropriate statistical techniques.
  • Providing recommendations for improving employment policies and workforce development programs.

YOUR PROFILE

  • 5 years of experience with SAS or SPSS as analyst to analyze Labor Force Survey, household is mandatory.
  • Being able to analyze statistics with SPSS is a strong asset.
  • 5+ years university degree ideally in Statistics, Mathematics or any related field is an asset.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory. Any other additional languages is an asset.
  • Good capacity to communicate with technical and no-technical persons.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
