Your mission:


The role of the Product Manager is to manage our data center, hybrid and public clouds products’ portfolio in order to ensure the development efficiency, the profitability, the maximum sales and minimum churn. 


Main responsibilities include:

 

  • Working within the Product Management team to
  • Develop new products by identifying potential product ideas or evolutions;
  • Conduct market research;
  • Generate product requirements;
  • Determine specifications, production timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction;
  • Working with marketing teams to ensure that customer affecting changes/launches are communicated correctly and in a timely fashion;
  • Working with internal staff, managing the process of any changes in time;
  • Working with technical departments to manage projects and product conception from concept to delivery;
  • Working with sales to bring and introduce the new products to customers
  • Ensure that management are kept appraised of progress and notified of any important deviation from the plans


Your profile:


Qualifications include:


  • Education: BAC + 3 minimum with a preference in IT or Business Administration;
  • Have excellent written and spoken French and English. German or Luxembourgish are considered a plus;
  • Have very good organization skills, with the ability to follow-up on requests, set priorities and respect deadlines (previous experience driving transformational projects is preferred); Certifications such as Prince2 or PMP are an asset.
  • Ability to deep dive into technical requirements when needed and eventually challenge various actors which conceptualize the product;
  • Experience and knowledge of private cloud (VMware, etc.) and/or public cloud solutions (Azure, GCP, AWS, etc.) is preferred;
  • You have a good understanding of the local regulations and their implementation especially in regards to cloud and outsourcing. A previous role as cloud officer is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in a sales architect or an IT infrastructure architect is an asset;
  • Fascinated by evolving technologies and innovation with a strong will to learn new skills and technologies;
  • Be customer-minded and results-oriented;
  • Strong office application skills (e.g. Excel, Power Point, Visio, MS Project …) and the willingness to develop those further;
  • Enjoys working and collaborating together with other departments with a positive mindset in any situation;
  • Be a good presenter and have the capacity to inspire and lead the path during presentations;
  • Have a positive “can do” attitude;
  • You have a good understanding of the Luxembourg IT market and its needs;
  • Strong communication skills and able to conduct business in English
