Our client seeks a skilled Junior Fund Controller to manage Luxembourg Funds' bookkeeping, NAV reconciliation, and related financial tasks. This role is essential for ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance within an evolving European market.

Description
As Experienced Junior Fund Controller, your responsibilities will include :
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts: Ensure accuracy in daily cash transactions.
- Bookkeeping for Lux Sub-Funds: Maintain precise accounting records.
- Oversight of shadow books: Manage internal records to mirror external administrator reports.
- NAV Reporting: Assist in preparing and reviewing NAV reports, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams: Streamline reporting processes across departments.
- Project participation: Engage in various financial projects, including tax matters and new investment onboardings.
- Financial reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for management and board review.
Profile
Your qualities as successful Experienced Junior Fund Controller :
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; ACCA preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years in financial services in Luxembourg, with expertise in accounting, back-office operations, or audit/advisory roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Lux GAAP and IFRS.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to produce detailed and compelling reports.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a startup-to-structured environment with diverse tasks and responsibilities.
- Languages: Fluent in French and English are a must.
