For our department Trainingwithin LuxairAirlines, we are looking for a (an):
Trainee Aircraft Maintenance Technician (m/f/x)
Main duties:
- Perform under supervision maintenance on Aircraft and Aircraft parts
- Keep the "on-the-job-training" logbook for the Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License updated
- Prepare and realize successfully the 1st Type rating on one of Luxairs fleet aircraft according to internal and legal regulations in force
- Provide regular feedback on job progress, discovered defects and encountered problems to the directly concerned persons
- Ensure that working documents are completed with necessary information's according to internal procedures in force
- Raise deficiency reports
- Occasionally assure on demand a support to the concerned department if proper instructions or training were received
Required profile:
Minimum required criteria:
- Be holder of a "Diplôme Technicien" given by the Lycée Technique Privé Emile Metz and the Ministry of Education of Luxembourg or equivalent as per article L.222-4 of the "Code du Travail"
- Be prepared to work in a team and irregular shifts
- Accept Duty Travel
- Be familiar with standard office applications
- Show good communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written)
- Be rigorous and self-motivated
- Show good organizational skills
- Show a good sense of priorities
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company
- Show the ability for clear expression in writing
- Maintain the strict confidentiality of the data
- Attend and pass successfully all mandatory trainings according to the area of activity
Desired or to be acquired criteria:
- Show user skills in the tools used in LG Technics
The ideal candidate:
- Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset
