My client, a famous international law firm is looking for a tax lawyer.
About the role :
- International Tax Consulting: Provide legal and tax advice to clients on complex international tax issues, including tax planning and compliance with local and international regulations. Collaborate with partners and other team members to develop effective tax strategies.
- Management of a variety of tax files: Work on a variety of tax files involving various sectors, industries and jurisdictions. Actively participate in the resolution of tax issues related to multinational corporations, hedge funds and private equity companies.
- Drafting Legal Documents: Draft memoranda, tax opinions, and other legal documents for clients. Ensure clear and accurate communication on complex tax issues in English and French.
- Legal and Tax Research: Conduct in-depth research on tax law topics, including price transfers, and keep abreast of legislative and regulatory developments in tax matters. Provide analysis and recommendations based on the latest case law and tax regulations.
- Customer Relationship Development: Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring high quality service and identifying new service opportunities. Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and support them in implementing appropriate tax solutions.
Your profile :
- Master of Laws, with a specialization in international tax law or corporate taxation.
- First experience in Luxembourg with minimum of 2 years of experience as a lawyer in international tax law, with practice in law firms or in the tax department of a multinational.
- List IV or List I
- Excellent command of English and French.
- Experience in an international law firm is a strong asset.
- you already managed fund and corporate clients.
- Transfer pricing is an asset.
- LLM is an asset.
