Our client, a prestigious and highly respected law firm, is seeking a Junior Compliance Officer to join their team in Luxembourg. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and high-level legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including AML, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks.
- Oversee KYC/AML processes for clients, particularly the identification and verification of Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs).
- Develop, implement, and update internal compliance policies and procedures.
- Train and raise awareness among employees on compliance and risk management topics.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and respond to external audit requests.
- Conduct internal audits and provide regular reports to management, highlighting any identified risks.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: A Master’s degree in Law is required (from a recognized institution).
- Languages: Proficiency in English and French (both written and spoken) is essential. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Experience: Previous experience in a law firm or a similar legal environment is highly desirable.
- Key Skills: Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and international standards, Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
