Our client offers a position as Junior Accountant within a leading financial services firm based in Luxembourg. The company is renowned for its expertise and commitment to professional growth for its employees.
Job description :
As a Junior Accountant, you will :
- Record daily financial transactions, ensuring all ledgers and journals are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in preparing VAT and corporate tax returns while adhering to local compliance standards.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Collaborate with the senior accounting team to prepare financial statements and reports.
- Help organize financial audits by gathering necessary documentation and responding to auditor queries.
- Contribute to process improvements and the implementation of new accounting systems or tools.
Ideal Profile :
As a Junior Accountant, you have :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting, or strong internships in the financial sector.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English ; additional languages (French or German) are a plus.
