Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Manager in Governance, Risk and Compliance for our Risk Consulting Team

With increasing regulatory scrutiny and governance requirements, our clients in the banking/financial services industry rely on expert guidance to ensure robust Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) practices. As an Assistant Manager in our GRC Consulting team, you will play a key supporting role in helping clients establish and strengthen governance structures aligned with EU and local regulations. 

What you will be working on

• Assist in building and optimizing governance frameworks that support accountability, transparency, and regulatory compliance across clients' organizations.
• Support clients in understanding and navigating complex EU and local regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
• Contribute to assessments of regulatory changes, evaluate compliance risks, and identify governance gaps, making recommendations for targeted improvements.
• Collaborate in designing and implementing governance and compliance strategies that address client-specific needs, supporting the integration of these solutions into their operations.
• Foster relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and industry associations, acting as a trusted advisor on governance and regulatory matters.
• Assist in mentoring and developing junior GRC professionals, fostering a collaborative culture and supporting their professional growth in the ever-evolving governance and regulatory landscape.

What we look for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audit, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• 3–5 years of experience in the Financial Sector or Consulting, with a focus on governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Understanding of EU and local regulatory requirements, with the ability to assist in translating complex governance and regulatory needs into practical, risk-based solutions.
• Strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
• Fluency in English and French.
