Our client is a famous Bank located in Kirchberg in Luxembourg. They are offering a temporary mission of 6 months with their Trade and payments team which is part of Wealth Management segment
Main task is to oversee all money market transactions across aforementioned market coverage teams. This involves booking of multi-currency loans and time deposits, as well as dual currency deposits
Executing these orders, you have to coordinate and work closely together with all involved departments including Market coverage, Operations, Cash Management, Treasury, Lending, Risk Management and Compliance. Additionally, you have to calculate yields and margins, complete all necessary checks related to money market transactions, obtain approvals, and store orders in the banking system. You are responsible for executing international transfers, such as payments in various currencies, security transfers, FX trades, and security trades
Main daily tasks and services are the following:
▪ Capture security trades
▪ Capture FX trades and DCDs
▪ Capture corporate actions / AIFs
▪ Process payments and money transfers
▪ Book time deposits
▪ Book loans
▪ Execute security transfers
▪ Dealing with all kinds of related inquiries, and front office support
▪ Contributing as subject matter expert to projects (e.g. simplification and automation of processes)
▪ Testing new releases of IT banking platform Avaloq
