POSTE
We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join the Facility Management Department of a leading IT service provider within a prestigious banking group. This is a long-term freelance mission, lasting 12 months with high potential for renewal.
In this critical role, you'll support the infrastructure, maintenance, and security of IT systems in a highly regulated environment, ensuring optimal system reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Administer and monitor operating systems (Windows, Linux) and core infrastructure components.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and provide hands-on system support.
- Implement robust security measures in compliance with banking regulations.
- Manage system backups, disaster recovery, and ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system upgrades and new deployments.
- Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct system audits and monitor performance metrics.
- Support system integrations with minimal disruption to operations.
- Contribute to capacity planning and system performance tuning.
PROFIL
Ideal Profile:
- Proven experience in System Administration or Systems Engineering.
- Strong command of Windows Server, Linux, and system management tools.
- Solid knowledge of virtualization and cloud environments.
- Familiar with networking basics, firewalls, and IT security best practices.
- Proficiency with system monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot under pressure
Nice to Have:
- ITIL knowledge or experience with IT service management frameworks.
- Relevant certifications: MCSA, RHCSA, or similar.
- Background in banking or financial services environments.
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar tools.
