Under the supervision of the Luxembourg-based Head of Compliance and MLRO, the Compliance Manager ensures that all activities carried out by the subsidiary and its six EU branches comply with local regulatory requirements. They also monitor that the organization meets its AML/CTF obligations (including for the distribution network and institutional clients).
Your Role
- Support the Head of Compliance in ensuring that the activities of the MANCO and its EU branches (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and Spain) comply with all relevant regulations, rules, and evolving requirements.
- Execute the compliance monitoring plan, including thematic reviews, and report any recommendations or significant issues to the Head of Compliance.
- Assist the Head of Compliance in identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks related to the business activities of the MANCO and its EU branches, such as new products, business relationships, or the expansion of operations and networks internationally.
- Develop and update compliance policies and procedures for the MANCO and its branches.
- Provide guidance and support to staff and governing bodies on compliance-related matters.
- Assist the Head of Compliance in preparing various compliance reports for the Board of Directors, regulators, and the Group.
- Support the MLRO in all AML/CTF-related tasks and functions.
- Conduct second-line AML/CTF controls as part of the overall monitoring plan.
- Carry out detailed and timely investigations of AML/CTF alerts as required.
- Oversee AML/CTF compliance for delegatees.
PROFIL
Your Profile
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Compliance Officer, Internal Auditor, External Auditor specializing in asset management, or Regulatory Compliance Advisor.
In-depth knowledge of regulations applicable to Management Companies and Alternative Investment Fund Managers.
Expertise in AML/CTF laws and compliance regulations related to distribution (local, EU, and international).
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (UCITS V, AIFMD, etc.).
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexible, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset.
Proactive, with a strong drive for decision-making and implementation.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
Fluency in French and English; knowledge of other EU languages is an asset.
