Join our Regulatory Intelligence & Services (RIS) team -a combination of in-depth industry knowledge and technical expertise in the investment fund industry. We proactively provide our clients with a broad range of compliance and regulatory services related to the marketing and distribution of investment funds.
We are looking someone who is eager to learn, proactive and ready to join an environment where no two days are the same.
Our areas of expertise include:
- Business Compliance: we interpret laws and regulations, which typically applicable to management companies, administrators, distributors and fund managers and assist our clients in understanding the impact on their business operations
- Marketing Compliance: we conduct reviews of marketing materials to ensure compliance of their with European Union-level and/or local regulations, as appropriate
- Investment Compliance: we assess the eligibility of assets, their categorisation and the investment restrictions that apply to them in accordance with Luxembourg law
- Regulatory support on the cross-border distribution of funds: we identify, interpret and monitor rules on the marketing of funds worldwide and proactively inform our clients about relevant changes and the impact on their marketing activities
- Advising clients on the impacts of regulatory developments on their activities
- Developing a strong understanding of the local rules and challenges related to the distribution and the marketing of foreign funds (UCITS and AIFs) on a cross-border basis
- Contributing to the continuous maintenance and development of the department’s regulatory database
- Assisting on projects and coordinating assistance to clients in the interpretation of the local regulations applicable to foreign UCITS and AIFs marketed in multiple host jurisdictions
- Maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients as well as developing new relationships with asset managers
- Hold a Master’s degree in law, economics or business administration
- Knowledge of EU regulations on investment funds and Asset Management environment is an asset
- Strong team player but also able to work autonomously
- Flexible and able to work with tight deadlines
- Show excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Are fluent in English – any other language is an advantage
