IT SECURITY SPECIALIST
We are seeking a skilled IT Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations related to IT security, ensuring that our services to customers are maintained at the highest quality level. This role requires a proactive individual who can operate autonomously as well as collaborate effectively with colleagues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Management:
- Manage and maintain IT security operations to ensure the highest quality of service to customers.
- Administer assets within the scope, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Request Fulfillment:
- Handle and fulfill security-related requests from internal and external stakeholders.
Incident Management:
- Identify, analyze, and resolve security incidents promptly to minimize impact.
Change Implementation:
- Plan, execute, and oversee changes in the IT security infrastructure.
TECHNICAL ADMINISTRATION:
Installation and Configuration:
- Install and configure security hardware and software to meet organizational needs.
Support:
- Provide technical support for security-related issues, ensuring swift resolution.
Updates and Upgrades:
- Manage updates and upgrades for security systems to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
Backups and Restore:
- Implement and validate backup and restore processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
Documentation:
- Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, procedures, and policies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security roles.
- Proficiency in both French and English languages.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with:
- F5 BIG-IP
- Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco (Firepower)
- Infoblox, Bluecoat, DHCP/DNS
- Trend Micro IMSVA
- Monitoring tools such as Centreon and OmniVista
- RSA
- Radius
- SSL Certificates
Additional Notes:
- Relevant certifications in IT security are a significant asset (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
