Task Responsibilities:
- Review the aircraft component requirements and establish overall priorities, accounting for other factors (Material Planning, Critical Material Desk, Stock Status, Maintenance Sales, Checks)
- Prepare and open Repair Orders for parts and components.
- Establish the resources and skills required to accomplish the allocated work.
- Monitor the adherence to agreed turn-around-times for the parts and components.
- Liaise with Parts Expeditors for the management of incoming un-serviceable components.
- Ensure that repair orders, shop workorders and parts are induced to the shops in a timely manner and according to the overall priority levels.
- Liaise with Engineering, Production Shops, and Material departments in order to take decisions on incoming components outside normal scope of work.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
- Secondary technical education or accomplished apprenticeship
- At least 3-5 years of experience in aviation
- Experience in a planning role is an advantage
- Good knowledge of aircraft components repairs
- Ability to work independently and implement improvements
- Willing to learn and receive further training
- Fluency in written and spoken English, other languages are considered an advantage
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and TRAX
Working Conditions:
- Temporary full-time positions for up to 15 months.
- A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
- The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment.
- The position incumbent should possess a valid driving license.
- The interal title of the position is "Planner Shop Control Center".
