- Drive the analysis of business ideas by challenging them considering their strategic alignment and business case.
- Lead studies to prepare an adequate project implementation.
- Manage the successful delivery of the entire project - in close collaboration with the sponsor, business, and IT representatives - to time, budget, scope & quality and in accordance with BIL's project management methods, processes, and policies.
- Play the lead role in structuring (define & set-up project approach), planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, managing stakeholders and closing projects.
- Manage and mitigate dependencies, issues and risks related projects and initiatives.
- Proactively take decisions or seek approval to ensure the project/release stays on track.
- Provide direction and support to cross functional teams; provide guidance, training, and direction to achieve projects' goals.
- Define, coordinate, and ensure implementation of the required communication and change management plan to ensure that the project's deliverables are integrated smoothly in the existing environment and that the business benefits of the project are achieved.
- Constantly monitor and report on project/release progress/KPIs to the relevant stakeholders and governance bodies (incl. Executive Committees & Boards of Directors).
Your skills:
- 3+ years' experience working or consulting in relevant fields of expertise, largely gained in the financial services environment. Master in Economy, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent.
- Broad knowledge of the banking sector and/or an in-depth knowledge of one of its domains (Finance, Risk, Compliance, etc.) or business areas (Retail, Wealth, Corporate).
- Demonstrated project management skills and experiences (scope, resource, planning, budget and business case management).
- Strong organizational and time management skills: proficient in structuring, planning, monitoring of projects and taking the required actions to remediate deviation (problem solving).
- Proven business/regulatory delivery focus (trusted partners). Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex business/regulatory documents.
- Ability to work well under pressure with a proactive approach including managing multiple deadlines and changing project scope.
- Ability to quickly analyze business practices to identify risks, inefficiencies, opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with across all levels of seniority and functions with confidence, and to develop effective partnerships with key business stakeholders.
- Ability to influence and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders to take desired actions
- Providing clear and audience aware communications and progress reporting for various governance bodies and other stakeholders within the bank for informed decisions and governance.
- Written and verbal communication in French and English. Fluency in another European language will be considered as an advantage.
- Proficient with MS Office tools (MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint). Experience with Clarity™ or any another Project & Portfolio Management tool.
- Project or Program Management certification (PMP, Prince2) and/or Change Management (PROSCI) and/or demonstrable expertise in one of the following discipline Waterfall/Agile/SAFe is a plus.
