Our client, a boutique tax firm, is seeking a motivated and experienced VAT Officer to join their dynamic team. The firm offers high-quality tax and accounting services to international clients across Europe, with a focus on financial, real estate, and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate is a young professional eager to expand their knowledge and work closely with a tight-knit, supportive team.
Location: Luxembourg City Center (easily accessible via public transportation)
Clientele: SOPARFI, Commercial Companies, funds
Team Size: ~10 people
VAT Officer - Your responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of VAT returns and related tax documentation.
- Providing VAT advisory services and direct tax assistance.
- Collaborating with the VAT Manager and supporting the development of a Junior VAT Officer.
- Reviewing contracts, annual accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Assisting with fiscal monitoring and tax audits for a varied portfolio.
- Working closely with both international and local clients, particularly those in the Europe and Germany.
VAT Officer - Your Profile:
- Around 2 years of experience in VAT within Luxembourg.
- Bachelor's degree in taxation, finance, or related fields.
- Proficiency in English and French OR German.
- Ability to read and analyze annual accounts and contracts.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
