Arηs Group – Part of Accenture, is looking for a Senior Information Security Consultant – Strategic EU Projects (m/f) to join one of its teams located on the premises of a European Institution in Luxembourg.
Your Mission:
As a Senior Information Security Consultant, you will be a key player in the Information Security function within the Security Unit of our client, a major European institution. This team is responsible for defining security requirements, implementing a security risk management framework, monitoring security measures, responding to information security incidents, and staying compliant with EU regulations such as Regulation (EU) 2023/2841.
The successful candidate will report to the Local Information Security Officer (LISO) and will take on the following tasks:
- Perform risk assessments and define security measures for IT solutions in ongoing projects.
- Develop and produce security architecture designs.
- Evaluate and recommend security products and tools for information systems.
- Assist in the design, communication, and implementation of information security policies, controls, and monitoring measures based on regulatory, legal, and contractual requirements.
- Support the implementation of security tools and monitor the Information Security Management System through KPIs.
- Manage security tests and provide security audits for systems, infrastructure, and databases.
Your Skills:
- Strong knowledge and previous experience with EU institutional regulations related to information security.
- In-depth understanding of information systems security controls and standards, such as ISO/IEC 27000 Series and NIST.
- Familiarity with security management methodologies and tools.
- Strong ability to write and prepare assessments, studies, and high-quality documentation (policies, procedures, standards, guidelines) tailored to different audiences.
- Capacity to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
Your profile:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent in professional experience
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Proficient communication skills in English both written and spoken
