SENIOR FUND ACCOUNTANT

Our client is an independent specialised professional of financial sector which provides a wide range of financial services including domiciliation, corporate secretarial and accounting services, fund administration and services, directorship of companies, tax compliance, and company winding-up assistance.

POSTE
YOUR MISSIONS
You will manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing their periodic and year-end financial closings, including the preparation of financial statements and other necessary regulatory reports.
You will handle the preparation of Corporate Tax returns, VAT returns, and subscription tax filings.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the overall Net Asset Value (NAV) production process, encompassing a variety of financial and accounting tasks.
You will address inquiries from auditors, clients, and tax authorities, as well as resolve internal accounting-related issues.
You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those in the private equity and real estate sectors within the fund industry.
Reporting on client requirements and expectations will be a key part of your role.
Active participation in internal projects is expected.
You will update the investor register and manage the capital table.
Familiarity with CSSF reporting, as well as AIFMD and BCL reporting, will be necessary.
PROFIL
YOUR PROFILE
Degree in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance
4-5 years of professional experience in the fund industry, including time spent in audit firms or similar positions
Proficiency in NAV calculations and NAV production
Knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP
Both fluency in English and French
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
Proactive and self-motivated
Highly organized with a methodical approach
Effective at prioritizing tasks and managing workload
