Electrical Steels Coordinator – Commercial Performance, Pricing and Demand Planning

 

In CMO Central Accounts, dedicated to the growing market of Electrical Steels for industry and automotive applications we are looking for a person to perform all transversal tasks related to Commercial Performance, Pricing and Demand planning.

 

Your role will consist in steer commercial activity, measuring business performances vs targets, reporting results and analysing deviations, to contribute to Management decision-making activities in the short and long term; collaboration with sales teams, finance / industrial controllers, data scientists, R&D and supply chain and mills

 

Your missions will include:

1.      Commercial Performance:

a.      Responsible for MRF process (Volume and price monthly actual and forecast exercise) in cooperation with Key Account Managers. The goal is to provide a qualitative MRF to judge and monitor our business plan turnover target completion. Explain the variances and act as challenger for sales team for having the best accurate and relevant figures.

b.      Focus on profitability by bringing analysis & reports to steer commercial results. Be The business partner of sales team & CMO to facilitate decision taking and optimization of our sales mix. Acting as liaison point between commercial & plants/Clusters & Finances. Develop & maintain this network.

c.      Operate transversally & provide requested reports to internal & external stakeholders based on the knowledge of systems with the goal to go always deeper into digitalization.

2.      Pricing:

a.      Price digitalization - Preparation of necessary data to allow systems evolution.

b.      Strategic pricing - Deep analysis of prices (base, extras, deviations) in a matrix shape to identify the key levers that allow to increase value creation through price differentiation and will support the set-up of a smart pricing model. Coordinate the new extras definition together with R&D and CMO.

c.      Operational pricing - Support RFQ pricing centralization, support price negotiations, support Sales teams with specific analysis for answering strategic RFQ (cost, …)

3.      Demand Planning:

a.      Budget and Quarterly Sales Plan Opening and management in demand planning tool (APO)

b.      Order forecast management as input for SOP cycle

c.      Shipment forecast management for MRF process

d.      Full involvement in SOP cycle for Plant as Electrical steel representative.

e.      Key user for customer master data management

 

Education & level of experience

·      Business School / Master in Business Administration, Finance or Economics

·      At least 5 years of previous experience in finance or commercial controlling functions

·      Capacity to evaluate production costs and understand the impact of commercial decisions on profit margins

·      Understanding of steel products and production processes is considered a plus

·      Proficient with Excel, knowledge of Tableau and Sales force appreciated

·      Proficiency in English, knowledge of any other European language considered an asset

      

Skills

·      Strong analytical and data-driven mind, capacity to manage big quantities of data understanding correlations and reading the trends

·      Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills

·      Proactive and ability to quickly understand business to make recommendations / proposals for decision making

·      Very good sense of prioritization, able to work on tight deadlines with a high level of autonomy and initiative

·      Enthusiastic and dynamic personality, thinks out of the box and don’t fear to challenge the way things are done
