The opportunity:
- You will have the opportunity to join a multinational team for a new factory using innovative technology and state of the art equipment.
- Reporting to our Manufacturing Director, the Engineering leader will manage, coordinate and direct all activities of the Engineering Project team. Lead the full process of Engineering projects, from definition to prioritization including payback calculation, to on time and within budget execution, up to full release and hand-over to production.
- He will be responsible for the Facility and utility management as well as legal compliance related topics. He will manage, coordinate and implement tools for the management of utilities and energy and continuously drive cost-saving solutions including labor, overtime, spare parts, contract services and operational items.
- He will leverage resources to provide continuous technical support to the maintenance team, supporting daily activities as required and providing technical expertise for RCFA and risk analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and ensure compliance of the strategic objectives of the team related to KPI indicators of Project, Energy, Capital Expenditures and Environment.
- Support the organization in reaching goals established in the areas of Safety, Quality, Cost, Production, Standards Certification, policy compliance, Internal and External Customers Satisfaction
- Development of the Engineering Project Team, aligned with the personal growth and training, encouraging team work, process flexibility and productivity.
- Responsible for the tools calibration process within the facility following the IATF16949 and Goodyear quality standard requirements.
- Participate in the elaboration of the Strategic Plan of the factory, transfers technologies applied locally (good practices), research and develop of new engineering solutions.
To join our team, you will need:
Education:
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related field.
Experience:
- Min 10 years of experience in maintenance and/or engineering
- Min 5 years of people leader experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience in leading large capital investment project (equipment / facility / ...).
- Experience as people leader
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, civil, IT and automation.
- Leadership and coaching skills
- Strong Problem solving skills and mentality
- Courageous and willing to make decisions
- Collaborative style and ability to influence
- Open minded, pro-active and able to drive change
- High sense of urgency and ability to deal with multiple and/or conflicting priorities

- Language: Fluency in English is a must, all other EU language would be considered as an asset.
