BDA Global Services is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant (M/F) on a permanent contract.
Description :
Within the team, you will report to the Head of Finance :
● You will manage a portfolio of clients and be responsible of their periodic & year-end closings
financial statements and other regulatory reporting
● You will prepare Corporate Tax returns and VAT returns
● You will be responsible for the overall NAV production process, accuracy, and timeliness
across a broad spectrum of financial and accounting matters
● You will handle enquiries of auditors and tax inspectors as well as internal accounting-related
cases
● You will ensure the accuracy and quality of the financial statements prepared by (junior)
accountants
● You will coach and guide (junior) accountants who work on the same portfolio as yourself
● You will report on the needs and demands of clients
● You will actively participate in internal projects
Qualification :
● You hold a diploma in Accounting, Audit/Finance, Law, or equivalent
● You have a professional experience of 4 to 5 years in an audit firm, services provider or
similar in the Fund industry
● You have experience in calculating Net Asset Values and managing the NAV production
process
● You are familiar with Luxembourg GAAP & IFRS. US GAAP
● You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. The knowledge of
German/French/Spanish will be an asset
● You show relationship and communication skills enabling you to evolve in the team
● You are capable and eager to take initiative
● You are methodical, organised and rigorous
● You are able to prioritise workload and manage several tasks
● You are dynamic and proactive
● You display a positive and enthusiastic attitude
