This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading industrial company, with a significant and established presence throughout Europe. As a Compliance, Legal, and Risk Manager, you will report to the Legal Director and build a strong collaboration with the C-Suite and other internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a compliance framework of policies, procedures, practices, and controls, but not limited to it.

Your Main Responsibilities:
- Developing, implementing, and upholding risk management processes and controls, while providing regular reports on risk management issues to the board and senior management
- Acting as the main point of contact for the Compliance Framework at a group level
- Analyzing and evaluating legal, governance, and compliance risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them through regular compliance audits and risk assessments
- Coordinating and advising the board of directors, on both regulatory and corporate governance topics
- Reviewing laws and regulation changes related to GDPR, Anti- Bribery, Corruption, Conflict of Interest
- Overseeing the scheduling of board meetings, maintaining the official registry, and ensuring that the proxy holders are up-to-date
Candidate Profile:
- University degree (master’s) in Law, with specialization in business law, corporate or Business administration
- At least 4 - 5 years of working experience in governance, corporate compliance (privacy, ESG, sustainability), risk management, internal control and/or audit functions in a multinational operational environment; corporate and legal in-house experience is a plus
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Legal English and German is a must.
- Problem solver, passionate about process optimizations, highly analytical
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management are a must
